What is the Africa Assembly?

The Africa Assembly is recognised as the region’s most influential corporate development, strategy, finance and investment gathering. It is a catalyst for the growth and development of the African energy industry.
The theme for the 2018 Africa Assembly was ‘The New African Horizon’.

The assembly attracted over 400 delegates and ran from 5 – 6 June, at the Westin, Paris. The 2018 Africa Assembly brought together senior industry stakeholders all under one roof, from E&P C-level executives, to key representatives from NOCs, Ministries and local regulators. The Assembly focused on highlighting the many opportunities in the African energy industry, and discussed the strategies needed to bring it into the next stage of development.

The 2019 Africa Assembly will take part alongside the Gas-to-Power Africa Congress during Africa International Energy Week. Schedule the gathering into your diaries from the 1st to the 3rd of July 2019 in Paris, France.

The Assembly is a catalyst for the growth and development of the African energy industry.

The programme is focused on highlighting the many opportunities across the African oil and gas landscape and includes a celebration of the exciting developments at the annual Africa Awards Dinner. The Awards are an opportunity to recognise the year’s best performing companies and executives on the African continent, those who have pioneered new frontiers, inspired others throughout their activities and achieved growth in challenging markets. The Dinner will take place on the evening of the 24th of June.
